Hi, I'm Gloria W. — a Kenya-based Executive Assistant who keeps busy founders and their operations pointing in the same direction.
I studied International Relations at United States International University – Africa, and more of that training shows up in my work than you'd expect. Coordinating people across borders, reading a conversation for what's really being asked, and holding a dozen moving deadlines in view at once — that's the daily reality of supporting an executive, and it's the work I'm built for.
Most recently I was the right hand to the CEO of a U.S. real estate company, running point on calendars, inboxes, and stakeholder communications while coordinating transactions across Washington DC, Maryland, and Virginia. I managed end-to-end transaction workflows in Bright MLS, ZipForms, and DocuSign, kept the CRM clean, prepared reports, and held the operation to full compliance with closing deadlines. When a founder can trust that nothing is slipping, they get to actually run their business — and that's the job.
Before that, customer-facing roles taught me the other half of the work: staying calm under volume, solving problems without drama, and treating every interaction as a relationship worth protecting. I bring that same patience to internal teams.
